Roberta Terra is an eco-conscious artist, who transforms discarded fabrics into vibrant works of art.

She is originally from Italy but currently living in Madrid. Her artistic journey began when she moved from Italy to London, where she worked in the fashion industry and witnessed the environmental toll of mass production and consumption. This experience profoundly influenced her, prompting her to explore creative avenues for change.

Her artistic process begin by collecting discarded fabrics from various sources. Each fragment carries its own story and by repurposing these materials she gave them a new life.

In her collages she arranges hundreds of these fabric pieces to create compositions that resembles paintings from afar. It’s only upon closer inspection that viewers realise the intricate detail and texture of the artwork.

Through her art, Roberta, challenges viewers to reconsider their relationship with materialism encouraging a shift in our perception of waist.
